Castle Rock Firefighters Local 4116 sponsored and participated in the National Fallen Firefighters Golf Tournament.  The event was held at Green Valley Ranch Golf Course on June 12, 2009.  The CRFD Honor Guard presented the National Colors during the opening ceremonies and Local 4116 members played in the tournament.  Thanks to Lt. Jason Butts for his hard work in helping to organize this great event.

We are pleased to announce the official launch of the 4116 Best Practices blog. This is intended primarily for Castle Rock firefighters, but anyone can submit information, and anyone can benefit from the postings. Please pass it around, and share the information as you see fit. The Town of Castle Rock Council voted to implement an ordinance that will prohibit the firefighters from collecting money for MDA through the traditional Fill-The-Boot campaign.
