Typically there is assigned 1 officer, 1 driver, and 1 firefighter/paramedic for the Engine and 1 firefighter/EMT and 1 firefighter/paramedic staffing the Medic Unit.

Station 154 protects the Meadows, Highlands Vista, and Red Hawk areas. Also in the station's district are the Factory Shops, three schools, a large industrial area, and the Douglas County Sheriff's Office - which houses our dispatch center.

History:

Coming Soon.

Station 154 was opened in 1998, has three drive-thru bays and sleeping quarters for seven members.
The engine is staffed with 1 officer, 1 engineer, and 1 firefighter. A fourth member of the crew (firefighter) is assigned to this company only when staffing levels permit. Engine 154 is a 2003 HME/Central States with a 500 gallon tank and 1750 gpm pump.

Medic 154 is the second staffed medic unit within the district and is the primary ambulance for the northern half of our district. It is staffed with 1 firefighter/EMT and 1 firefighter/paramedic.  It is also used to help train new EMT's and paramedics when necessary by allowing them to ride as the third member. Medic 154 is a 2004 Ford/Wheeled Coach.

The members of the Special Operations Command have outfited Squad 154 with tools and equipment to be used for technical rescue, such as a trench collapse, building collapse, or confined space rescue, and MCI emergency medical services' incidents.  The truck was donated to the Fire and Rescue Department by a local brewery.
Collapse 154 is a trailer designed to carry trench rescue equipment (panels/strongbacks, ground pads, and cut table).  The trailer also carries a cache of wood for emergency shoring and stabilization.  It is assigned to the Special Operations Command.
